The story of The Royal Concept is the illustration of how a song can change the course of a band. After releasing various singles that earned them the respect of the critics and the public in their native Sweden, the band ended up touring at the Peace & Love Festival and signing with the American label Lava Records en 2012. Since then they share label with Lorde, have toured along the US and got their album Goldrushed edited even in Japan. Their pristine indie pop with electronic beats finds its best version in hits like On our way of the self-title album. This track also appears in video games and commercials.
