Raised from the ashes of the project of Cajun Dance Party, where Daniel Blumberg and Max Bloom shared the stage, Yuck has ended up becoming something very different from what they where in their early days. Putting indie pop aside, they explore the best references in American 90s lo-fi. The outbreak of the British band was essential to their successful development, in barely five years few they have become a classic reference. Their first album was received with a roar of delight among publications like Pitchfork, and their music was included on the BBC Sound of 2011. Their return in 2013, without Blumberg, represented a step forward in the building of their own identity as a band whose limits are yet to come.
