When indie music began to hit the music scenes in Spain, Antonio Luque was already there. His presence, his voice and his rhetoric have been some of the most recognizable attributes of Spanish music over the last 24 years. The andalusian singer really deserves credit for being one of the best songwriters of the country, with 15 albums produced by two of the most emblematic independent record labels in Spain (Acuarela and Mushroom Pillow). Amongst some of the best albums of Spanish indie music we find a few of his works such as ‘ El Porqué de mis Peinados’, ‘Noséqué-Nosécuántos’ or ‘El Ventrilocuo de sí Mismo’. His latest album, released by his own record label (VEEMMM), was rated as one of the best of the year by music journalists.
