Rafa Cervera (Valencia , 1963) is a journalist, screenwriter and writer. He began his career writing about music in 1982 in the fanzine Strychnine and since then has worked in different publications like Rock Espezial, Ruta 66, El País de las Tentaciones, Primera Línea, Vogue, GQ and Rolling Stone, among many others. He has also worked in radio and television (Radio 3 concerts) and written books about Lou Reed, Nirvana and Sonic Youth, in addition to his Alaska y Otras Historia de la Movida (2002). He currently serves as a professor at postgraduate masters related to music and journalism, and writes the blog Nada Especial. As a DJ, he has played in different venues and clubs such as Chicote, Ochoymedio, Elástico, Fever and Electropura, and has recently begun to perform in music festivals.
